Update (12th July 2021):
Thank you so much to all of you for your prayers during this uncertain time. Things have been calm on the farm and we have not had any more fires on the farm. Shops have been open for the mornings and close earlier than normal. The curfew put in place due to Covid does not allow any movement around after 6 pm. Unrest and riots in our neighbouring country- South Africa has resulted in trucks being burnt and roads blocked. We are not certain how this will affect the delivery of food and supplies to Eswatini in the coming weeks. We are grateful that the children are safe and praise God.
Our social worker tested positive for Covid today. Please pray for her and for the staff and children at Pasture Valley.
We'd like to welcome you to Pasture Valley Farm
and Children's Home
. Pasture Valley is a farm situated close to Nhlangano, Shiselweni Region, in the South of the Kingdom of Eswatini. Our farm consists of a dairy, a plant micropropagation laboratory, a plant nursery and a children's home for orphaned and vulnerable children. The farm is owned and managed by Peter & Michelle McCubbin. The farm is home not only to Peter, Michelle and their children but to over 60 orphaned & vulnerable children on the Pasture Valley Farm site. The children living on the Ekuthuleni Mission site have now moved to the main farm site.
Pasture Valley is also the base for the office and shop of the Bambanani Project
, which provides employment and empowerment among women and men affected by HIV/AIDS in the Shiselweni Region of The Kingdom of Eswatini.
