Ladies celebrate arrival of 3 new machines
The ladies celebrate arrival of 3 new machines
The Bambanani Project currently supports 5 women’s groups which includes: Dwaleni, Makhonza, Mbangweni, Maseyisini and Siteki.
The ladies are proud to be able to share their skills with others. Two ladies went to Mozambique to train a group of young men and ladies how to sew and make bags. Passing on the skills they have to improve the lives of others is a blessing.
The product range has increased significantly to include greeting cards made from pressed flowers, handbags, iPad bags, e reader bags, crocheted shoes and hats, grass mats, earrings, necklaces, shopping bags and much more…
We’ve been busy sewing new designs to meet your requests. Our bags combine traditional fabrics with sturdy solids, giving a strong yet unusual result. Our passport bag is fully lined, has a front zipper, and a back and inside pocket. The E-reader bag has a button closure, front and inside pockets, and is completely reversible. The I-pad bag features a hand-sewn applique figure on the front pocket. It also has an inside pocket and is reversible. Each style pictured below is available in several different colours and patterns
